IPMAT Admission Process 2026; Important Dates, How to Apply, Selection Criteria
The registration for the IIM Indore IPMAT 2026 is currently open, having started on 2 February 2026, and will conclude on 14 March 2026. The entrance exam is scheduled for 4 May 2026 in the afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 4:00 PM).

Eligibility Criteria
Age: Candidates must be born on or after 1 August 2006. A 5-year relaxation is provided for SC/ST/PwD categories (born on or after 1 August 2001).
Academic Qualification: Must have passed Class 10/SSC and Class 12/HSC (or equivalent) in 2024 or 2025, or be appearing in 2026.
Minimum Marks: At least 60% aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12 for General/NC-OBC/EWS, and 55% for SC/ST/PwD.
Exam Pattern & Fees
Format: Computer-Based Test (CBT) lasting 120 minutes.
Structure:
Quantitative Ability (Short Answer - SA): 15 questions, 40 minutes (No negative marking).
Quantitative Ability (MCQ): 30 questions, 40 minutes (+4 for correct, -1 for incorrect).
Verbal Ability (MCQ): 45 questions, 40 minutes (+4 for correct, -1 for incorrect).
Application Fee:
General / EWS / NC-OBC: ₹4,130 (inclusive of GST).
SC / ST / PwD: ₹2,065 (inclusive of GST).
Selection Process & Intake
Intake: IIM Indore has a sanctioned intake of 150 seats for domestic applicants. Final Merit List: Calculated based on a Composite Score: Aptitude Test Score (ATS): 65% weightage. Personal Interview (PI): 35% weightage.
